How many times do I have contact with you as my coach?
For online coaching you can contact me anytime through WhatsApp. We categorize questions in the 'can't wait' or 'can wait till check in' category. With personal training you have contact with me during our sessions and if needed you can text me. We try to answer most of your questions during our session.
Do you coach both men and women?
Yes, however most of my clients (especially online) are men. If you are a women and prefer to be coach by a women you fill out the form on the contact page and mention this. You will receive the right information to book your intake with coach Annemarie. (she only coaches a limited amount of women which is why the booking links are only shared this way).
How long do I minimally train with Team Zafari Coaching?
I do not believe and support 'quick fixes' and 'radical changes overnight'. For this reason I work a minimum of 3 months with you. If you are looking for a quick fix, this is not the place to be unfortunately. Working towards a competition requires even more prep time, just keep that in mind. After three months, you can cancel monthly but will have to let me know one month in advance.
Can I also become a client if I do not want to do a natural bodybuilding show?
Yes, you are welcome to join the team. Booking an intake call is important to make sure I am a good fit as your coach. For example, if your goal is to run a marathon you will not be able to fully get the benefits of my expertise and I will likely refer you to a coach in my network that is specialized in training for marathons.
Can I first talk to you before committing to anything?
Yes, that is the only way to work with me. We schedule a 30 minute call in which we discuss your intake form (which you will receive in your inbox after booking your call). This way I can get to know you and your goals and you can ask me all the questions you have.
How do you create a training and nutrition plan for me?
Great question! Everything is tailored to your goals. After filling out a detailed intake form, I will have a better understanding of where you want to get to. This gives me a good idea of what you might need. We start off with a 'draft program' which is not set in stone yet. Since you start off with two weeks of testing your strength and finding your current baseline, we might discover other areas that might need attention. After 1-2 weeks we finalize programming and you'll get to work. We track progress closely and if something doesn't lead to the type of progress we want to see, we do something about it. However, we only change things up if there is a reason to do so. I generally only make planned out nutrition plans for competitive athletes or people who know they thrive on extreme structure. For people who are not athletes, a rigid meal plan does not always work (and by following orders you don't learn the -how and why-). Strategy around nutrition will vary per person. We could focus on learning to track your nutrition intake so you understand more about the content of the food on your plate. We might go by optimizing breakfast, lunch and dinner separately etc.
Does competition prep coaching also include posing classes?
You have two options. Normal prep coaching includes me giving you feedback on a posing video you provide on check-in day. You can also upgrade your package to include 1:1 60 minute posing sessions. During our intake we will soon enough figure out what you need. You can always upgrade your package and start out with sending me a video and later upgrade to having 1:1 sessions.
What kind of results can I expect?
I promise a 100% effort from my side. It does not matter whether you are a competitive athlete or someone who want to improve their general health for a better quality life, you have my full attention. However, you do have to think good about whether or not you have the headspace and energy to work towards your goals. During our intake we will talk about your goals and I will also give you input. Challenging goals are good, but we want it to be healthy for the body as well.
Do you coach all categories within natural bodybuilding?
I coach all categories towards a bodybuilding show. I only teach posing classes for Men's Physique and Classic Physique categories. If you want to do prep coaching with me, I can always recommend you a posing coach if you are competing in another category.
Where can I follow personal training and what kind of packages do you have?
You can follow personal training at SportCity New Babylon (The Hague, The Netherlands). I have various packages ranging from 4, 8 to 12 sessions a month. The minimum time to work together is also three months. You can book your personal training intake on the page 'personal training'.
